1. Relax. Usually a headache is caused by overexertion. You’re doing TOO much and your headache is your body’s way of tell you so. Take a breather. Sit on the couch, have a glass of lemonade, read a book, write in your journal, take a bath-do anything that relaxes you.
2. Sleep. Take a nap and wake up feeling refreshed and headache free.
3. Get some fresh air. Maybe you’ve been cooped up inside for too long and the stale air is suffocating you. Go outside, or if you can’t, at least open a window.
4. Drink water. You could be dehydrated. Drinking water will rehydrate you and relieve you of your headache.

5. Apply heat or cold to your head. Some headaches are relieved with a hot water bottle and some with ice. Try each to see which provides you relief.
