Digestive health, women health, reproductive health, insomnia treatments, erectile dysfunction treatments, depression and anxiety treatments—you name the condition and I’ll set you up with a 100% natural tea to soothe your condition. Listen, I’m not claiming to be some miracle worker—I would never recommend drinking tea in place of going to the doctor and following doctor’s orders, but drinking healthy teas can definitely work as a companion to doctor’s orders.
The following list contains key ingredients that are found in common “treatment teas.”

  • Red Raspberry Leaf – This is known as “women tea” because of the plethora of benefits connected to the field of women health. It can reduce menstrual cramps, treat an oral yeast infection, and soothe labor pains. It’s also got a hefty dose of iron in it, as well as calcium and vitamins A and E.
  • Lemon Balm – Here is a soothing herb that can help relieve insomnia, anxiety, and irritability.
  • Peppermint Leaf – Peppermint leaf tea does wonders to reduce nausea, especially pregnancy related nausea (i.e. morning sickness).
  • Ginger Root – This tea will also relieve nausea and help vomiting subside—another great tea for pregnant women.
  • Rose Hips – Rose hip tea, which is loaded with vitamin C, is a great tea to drink either before or during a cold as it works to boost one’s immune system.
  • Chamomile – German chamomile tea contains magnesium and calcium and can help reduce joint inflammation. It’s also used as an insomnia tonic.
  • Dandelion Root and Leaf – This tea (using both the root and leaves) is known to relieve mild edema as well as to nourish the liver. It is rich in calcium, iron, and vitamin A.
