The most effective way to treat anxiety and depression may be to buy Valium or Prozac and begin treatment that way. For many people this is the answer to their prayers as the meds work quickly to relieve symptoms of anxiety and depression.
For some people, however, turning immediately to medication is not the optimal solution. Instead they’d rather find natural treatments that don’t require medication. In severe cases, you should check with your doctor before self-treating depression and/or anxiety; but for mild depression and anxiety, working on your own for a natural solution is a great way to be proactive towards your condition.
Here are some natural ways you can treat anxiety and depression, medication-free:
1. Start exercising. When you exercise your brain releases pleasure hormones called endorphins that also work to calm you down if you’re feeling anxious or cheer you up if you’re feeling depressed. Exercise allows for a natural release of nerves—and it’s good for you physically. A win-win solution—if this works for you, you’ll be one step closer to a healthier life in many ways.
2. Sleep more. Sometimes people get edgy—either anxious or depressed—simply from lack of sleep. Alternatively, some may show signs of depression from hypersomnia, or sleeping TOO much. You should shoot for about 7-8 hours of sleep a night.
3. Social support is extremely important if you’re working to naturally treat anxiety and/or depression. Find a therapist or a good friend that you trust and can speak openly with.
4. Be nice to yourself. It’s okay to be down sometimes, but it’s not okay to get angry at yourself for falling into a slump. Be nice to yourself. Treat yourself to nice things. You deserve it!
5. Certain herbs have proven success in naturally treating depression and anxiety. Try valerian, ashwaganda, bugleweed, or California poppy—always speak with a doctor or herbologist before mixing your own herbs.

Do you have erectile dysfunction? Do you have a hard time getting and maintaining an erection? As well as purchasing natural male enhancement pills, such as Bigger X and BigX+, there are other options on the market to naturally enlarge your penis.

Penis Enlargement Devices – Devises used to enlarge your penis, including weights, traction devices, and pumps were created under the assumption that if the penis tissue is stretched frequently over a definite period of time, the tissue remains stretched, giving you a more enlarged penis. However, all those thinking about purchasing penis enlargement devices need to be advised that if penis enlargement devices are applied inappropriately, it will most likely result in permanent damage to your penis, so take caution before purchasing a penis enlargement device.

Penis Exercises – Clinical trials and medical studies established that penis exercises are capable of increasing a man’s penis length as well as the girth. Benefits of penis exercises include the capability to sustain a harder erection for an increased period of time, increased amount of produced semen, improved sexual control and bedroom performance, and who can forget, an enhanced penis size. An example of an exercise is jelqing. A man “milks” his penis, which, in turn, increases the blood flow to the penis, making it not only feel big, but look big as well. Jelqing can permanently increase the size of your penis when done in regular intervals.

Penis Enhancement Pills – Penis pills work to give nutrients to increase blood flow to the penis, increasing the size of your penis. The brand Big X contains all natural plant extracts and herbs to increase penis size but also gives you more sexual pleasure in the bedroom and raises your self-esteem (that arise from psychological issues involving the small size of your penis).

Using natural herbs to treat impotence dates back thousands of years. It’s safe, it’s easy, and it’s a tradition!

Try these herbal impotence treatments:
1. Ginkgo biloba – This will improve your memory and treat erectile dysfunction. Ginkgo increases stamina and can improve penile sensitivity. It is easily accessible through a Chinese medical practitioner.
2. Yohimbe – This is one of the main ingredients in Herbal Viagra and other natural ED treatments. Be careful because Yohimbe can cause nausea, insomnia, and an increased heart rate.
3. Damiana – This is an ancient Mayan aphrodisiac. It boosts sexual desire and arousal. It can be taken by females also to increase their sexual libido and sexual pleasure.
4. Muira puama – This is a plant that’s found in Brazil and has been used as a sexual stimulant and aphrodisiac for centuries.
5. Tribulus – This impotence treatment increases sexual desire by increasing the levels of sex hormones (testosterone, among others) in your system.
In addition to herbal treatments, many men have found success through other Eastern traditional treatments. If you’re like to treat ED without turning to drugs, make an appointment to see an acupuncturist. The placement of tiny needles in certain parts of your body has been known to stimulate male virility and increase potency.
Relaxing massages, particularly reflexology (triggering specific points on the foot) have been known to work as natural ED treatments.
Some more things you can do to improve your sexual virility:
1. Get a better night’s sleep. Some men can’t perform sexually simply because they’re sleep deprived.
2. Drink lots of water – dehydration can cause impotence.
3. Drink less alcohol – if you’re drunk, you’re not going to be able to get it up.
4. De-stress – stress from work or your personal life will affect your erections. Learn to relax and leave your stress outside the bedroom.

Everyday new medical research is coming out explaining the importance of various foods, vitamins, minerals, and what we can do to make sure that we consume enough. But, eating all your vegetables does not seem to be enough these days. Research has shown that Vitamin D is actually a crucial factor in the absorption of calcium. Without enough Vitamin D, your body is unable to absorb all of the calcium that it should.

Together, Vitamin D and calcium are important in developing bone mass and preventing osteoporosis. Making sure that you consume enough Vitamin D and calcium can also help prevent certain cancers including colon cancer.
If you are on a diet to lose weight or to lower cholesterol, you are probably focused on eating low fat meals and lowering your caloric intake. Especially if you are taking any weight loss supplements like Xenical Generic or Phentermine 37.5, which act as appetite suppressants, it is important that you still eat enough nutrients to stay healthy. This means all your vitamins and minerals (including Vitamin D and calcium) and all your food groups.

How can you be sure that you are getting enough Vitamin D and calcium?
As with most vitamins and minerals, the best source is in natural foods. If you can’t get enough of your nutrients from natural food sources, the second best option is to take a multi vitamin that contains Vitamin D and calcium.

Sources of Vitamin D:
One of the most effective ways to make sure that your body absorbs enough Vitamin D is to get about 10-15 minutes of sun exposure each day. This may not be possible in certain climates, especially in the winter. If sun exposure is not a possibility, there are a few natural food sources of Vitamin D including oily fish, liver, and egg yolks. Some dairy or soy products are fortified with Vitamin D as well.

Sources of Calcium:
The highest concentrations of calcium are found in dairy products including milk, cheeses, and yogurts. Calcium can also be found in some fish, nuts, seeds, beans, soy products including tofu, and leafy green vegetables.

Digestion problems can be pretty debilitating even when they aren’t considered severe in the medical world. Let’s face it; if you have heartburn, acid reflux, or other digestive issues, it can be pretty hard to go about your day normally. You will probably try just about anything to get your stomach feeling normal again. Below is a list of all natural herbal teas that can help ease some of your digestive symptoms. If your symptoms persist, consider asking your doctor about prescription Nexium or Prevacid. You can take medication to treat acid reflux or heartburn together with your favorite natural herbal tea, and be symptom free!

Chamomile Tea-this tea is famous for its healing components. It can be used to ease symptoms of heartburn, acid reflux, PMS, sleep problems, and anxiety. It is specifically effective in treating inflamed mucus membranes in the digestive tract, which leads to acid reflux, indigestion, and heartburn.

Marshmallow Tea-this tea is made from the root of marshmallow plants. It is great for soothing the intestinal tract, healing sore throats, and it can even help you heal from a urinary tract infection (but only in conjunction with medication to heal urinary tract infections).

Peppermint Tea-peppermint tea has soothing qualities that are particularly effective in easing an upset or gassy stomach and in calming down nausea. However, as peppermint tea relaxes the stomach and stimulates the production of bile, it also relaxes the lower esophageal sphincter. When the sphincter is relaxed it can actually worsen the symptoms of acid reflux and heartburn. If you suffer from these conditions, speak to your doctor before drinking peppermint tea.
As with any herbal remedies, it is always best to check with your doctor before use to be sure that they will not interfere with any medications you are taking.

Pregnancy comes with so many do’s and don’ts, it’s hard to keep track of it all. Don’t drink too much caffeine, and avoid dangerous herbs in large quantities especially in products that claim to be all natural. Just because a product is natural does not mean that it is safe for an unborn baby or a pregnant mommy. Take for example: Acai Extract. It is an all natural diet pill, but not safe during pregnancy. So too, some teas that we normally consider to be pretty benign can actually be harmful to an unborn baby.
Non-Herbal Teas – These include green and black teas, both are made from actual plant leaves, and they both contain lots of anti oxidants, which are considered to be very healthy, but do contain high amounts of caffeine. Black teas include English breakfast, earl grey, etc. These teas are safe to drink during pregnancy, but only in moderation. This is due to the caffeine content. There is no specific amount of caffeine that is generally considered safe during pregnancy. What we do know is that caffeine does cross the placenta, and can be harmful to your baby. Speak to your doctor and see if he/she considers them to be safe. Remember that even decaf non-herbal teas still contain some caffeine.
Herbal Teas – These teas are naturally caffeine free, so you don’t need to worry about that, but herbal teas are made from a variety of herbs that simply have not been tested yet to determine whether they are safe to consume during pregnancy. While herbs that we use to season food are generally considered safe, the same herb in a tea might be considered unsafe because of the sheer quantity of the herb being consumed through the tea. Some herbal teas, which are generally considered safe, include raspberry leaf tea, peppermint tea, and lemon tea. Those that are likely unsafe include teas made with chamomile.
Always be careful before using any all natural food or supplements during pregnancy. If you are unsure about it, check with your doctor

Usually I talk about natural herbs, tonics, and herbal remedies. Calcium, while not an herb—calcium is a mineral—is still one of my favorite topics when discussing women ‘ health and pregnancy. You can’t very well talk about red raspberry leaf tea or nettle tea without talking about the importance of calcium.
According to most women’s health professionals, pregnant women need to consume about 1000-2000 mg of calcium per day. Most women who do not get enough calcium during pregnancy will experience muscle cramping, preeclampsia, tooth problems, osteoporosis, difficult labor, backache, and high blood pressure. Pregnancy is hard enough without additional problems…so get your calcium requirements every day!
The good thing about calcium is that it’s pretty easy to accumulate the calcium you need throughout the day.

Here are some traditional, as well as less traditional, sources of calcium that are safe to consume during pregnancy:

Obviously milk, cheese, yogurt, and other dairy products contain high amounts of calcium and are extremely important to eat/drink during pregnancy.

Fish, particularly salmon, sardines, and mackerel.

Seaweed (kelp), tahini, and sesame salt (gomasio).

Dark leafy greens (kale, collards, turnip greens, etc.).

Wild greens like shepherd’s purse, galinsoga, mallow, amaranth, bidens, and dandelion leaves—these actually contain more calcium per 100 grams than milk!

Dried figs, prunes, dates, and elderberries.

Fresh parsley.

Watercress.

Carob powder.

Nuts.

Raspberry leaf tea and nettle infusion teas.

Note: Most calcium supplements are fine to take during pregnancy, but some, like oyster shell tablets or bone meal are NOT RECOMMENDED. There have been many cases of lead, cadmium, mercury, and other toxic metals found in these supplements. If you are taking them, you should stop immediately!

Digestive health, women health, reproductive health, insomnia treatments, erectile dysfunction treatments, depression and anxiety treatments—you name the condition and I’ll set you up with a 100% natural tea to soothe your condition. Listen, I’m not claiming to be some miracle worker—I would never recommend drinking tea in place of going to the doctor and following doctor’s orders, but drinking healthy teas can definitely work as a companion to doctor’s orders.
The following list contains key ingredients that are found in common “treatment teas.”

Red Raspberry Leaf – This is known as “women tea” because of the plethora of benefits connected to the field of women health. It can reduce menstrual cramps, treat an oral yeast infection, and soothe labor pains. It’s also got a hefty dose of iron in it, as well as calcium and vitamins A and E.

Lemon Balm – Here is a soothing herb that can help relieve insomnia, anxiety, and irritability.

Peppermint Leaf – Peppermint leaf tea does wonders to reduce nausea, especially pregnancy related nausea (i.e. morning sickness).

Ginger Root – This tea will also relieve nausea and help vomiting subside—another great tea for pregnant women.

Rose Hips – Rose hip tea, which is loaded with vitamin C, is a great tea to drink either before or during a cold as it works to boost one’s immune system.

Chamomile – German chamomile tea contains magnesium and calcium and can help reduce joint inflammation. It’s also used as an insomnia tonic.

Dandelion Root and Leaf – This tea (using both the root and leaves) is known to relieve mild edema as well as to nourish the liver. It is rich in calcium, iron, and vitamin A.
